So what does a repacked and certified life raft look like? Well not much changes, a couple of new labels and a box of stuff they said they replaced. You have to take it on faith that it was really done :-). Thank you Avalon Rafts in Wilmington CA for handling the repack. We did a road trip to drop it off in October, and another this weekend (spent weekend in Malibu RV Park) to pick it up.
Raft is a Winslow 60-SLOP (6 Man Super Light Weight Offshore Plus)
The raft had not been inspected/repacked since new in 2008. Most if the perishable items inside (Food, water, batteries, flares, medicines, ect) all expired 7-9 years ago. We should be good now for a bit. Will need to put together a ditch bag (abandon ship bag) with extra, supplies that can be changed out easier.
