Since it was such a beautiful Friday morning on San Francisco bay, and Narnia has been raring to go for weeks, I decided to take her out for a solo jaunt around Alcatraz Island.
We cast off at 8AM with calm N winds, clear skies and flat water. Except for the occasional commuter ferry, Narnia and I had the bay pretty much to ourselves.
As the sun rose higher and we moved into the famous SF Bay slot, the winds built to around 15 knots and provided a lively day of sailing.
