It’s a gorgeous Friday morning aboard Narnia, there is a negative tide and very light winds. Sue is home with Scotty, working to fill the cruising kitty, so what else is there for retired me to do but go for a kayak on San Francisco bay?
There is a small “island” that forms between Emeryville and Berkeley at low tide and this seemed as good of destination as any. I was joined by the feeding bat rays along the way. All in all a wonderful way to start a Friday.
Low tide at the dock
Managed to get into the kayak without flipping it.
I had a friend following me
A gorgeous day on the bay.
It’s like having a private island.
