Saturday afternoon happenings at the land home. If all goes as planned, we will be leaving late next week for an 11 day adventure to explore the Galapagos Islands! This is another of our bucket list trips. Sue spent the day organizing the various travel documents, reservations, itineraries, health records, etc. while Dan tried on some of his new “Galapagos Gear” ? .
Peru has a spike in COVID cases that doesn’t appear to be abating, so we had to cancel the Machu Picchu portion of the trip. We hope to check it off the list soon while we are still able to climb!
Scotty was initially excited when we told him about the trip, that was until he found out he didn’t have a ticket. He calmed down when we told him he would be spending the time with his cousins at the Holderman Husky Resort and Spa.
Hopefully we will soon be packing, flying, cruising, hiking, snorkeling, kayaking and exploring! Stay tuned!
