This is the reference list of countries, dependent territories, and special areas of geographical interest we use when determining if a location has “been visited” or not. It is based on the ISO 3166 standard. A location is considered to have “been visited” if we have set foot anywhere within it’s boarders.
You can download the current list below. This list will replace earlier versions of the list.
