We arrived in Nawiliwili Harbor in the early morning on January 27th after an unsettled overnight passage from Oahu. The weather was clear, sunny and cool, a welcome change from yesterday’s rain. After a quick breakfast aboard, we joined Gerne and David for that most amazing of tropical island adventure, an Uber to Costo for cough drops (Sue has been a bit under the weather), snacks for the crew, and just to sightsee the surrounding area. We also walked across the street to Ross so David could buy larger pants 🙂 .
It should be noted that we have been to this island before and have previously visited many of the tourist sites. After returning to the ship to lunch, Dan went for a walk downtown and to the nearby beach. Back aboard the ship by 4:30 for 5pm sail away. Next stop, Fiji.
