Today we crossed both the equator and the international date line as we sailed Southwest from Hawaii on our way to Fiji. We completely skipped January 31, 2025 and went from Jan 30 to Feb 1, 2025. The clocks were also set back 1 hour (or is that ahead 23 hours?). As is his tradition on these crossing occasions, Dan kept looking for the dotted lines floating on the ocean surface that mark the equator and dateline boundaries, but alas they were not visible. We will get the day back an hour at a time as we continue our journey around the world. 3 more sea days until we arrive in Suva Fiji.
