Surprise Friday Sailing on San Francisco Bay

What started out as just a quick trip to the marina to “check on the boat” while Sue was working, turned into a 4.5 hour Friday sail on San Francisco Bay. The weather was perfect! Lots of folks out playing hooky on a Friday. Weather started out as light 8knot breeze and built to about 15knots as the day progressed. Full Main and self tacking Staysail. Narnia was perfectly balanced. Sailed out to Alcatraz then did an “against the current” loop around Angel Island/Racoon Straights.

Once again, no drama, just a glorious day on the bay!
