Thursday 9/23/2021 morning Santa Cruz Island, Galapagos: We began the morning with a wet landing on Las Bachas beach on the island of Santa Cruz. During our stroll along the beach, we were greeted by Sea Lions, Sally Lightfoot crabs, American Flamingos, Oyster Catchers, and Marine Iguanas. We also visited a sea turtle nesting area. We saw the turtle tracks and nests, but no turtles.
This afternoon we will head to North Seymore Island.
