Another Sue bucket list adventure during the pandemic.
We’ll spend 4 days in Prague, Czech Republic before heading to Passau, Germany to catch a Viking Riverboat (200 passenger capacity will be sailing with about 50 passengers). The current itinerary has us proceeding for 8 days down the Danube River from Germany with stops in Austria and Slovakia before arriving in Budapest, Hungary where we’ll spend 3 additional days. The itinerary will likely change and be something completely different as countries adjust to the pandemic threats. Austria and Slovakia are currently on lock-down, and the Prague Christmas markets are confirmed closed for the year, but we are hopeful that we will be able to find some markets open in Germany or Hungary. It’s possible that Austria will re-open by the time we arrive, but if not, we’ll make the best of wherever we wind up. Life was meant to be an adventure.
